These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Quiet Menace at quietmenace.com and any related pages, feeds and social channels (together, the "Site"). The Site is operated by Media Morpheus LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who may use the Site

The Site is intended for a general adult audience. You may use it only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws.

2. Our content and your license to use it

Articles, guides, headlines, page designs, logos, the Quiet Menace name and wordmark are owned by or licensed to Media Morpheus LLC and are protected by copyright and trademark law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to read and share our content for non-commercial purposes. You may quote short excerpts with a visible credit and a link to the original story. You may not republish full articles, scrape the Site for commercial databases, remove credits or notices, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests endorsement, without our written permission.

3. Photography and third-party material

Photographs belong to their creators and are used under the Unsplash License or a Wikimedia Commons license as listed on our image credits page. Those licenses, not these Terms, govern any reuse of the images. Brand names and trademarks mentioned in our coverage belong to their owners and are used for identification and editorial commentary only.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to interfere with the Site's operation or security, attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access, introduce malware, overload the Site with automated requests, or use the Site for any unlawful purpose. Search engines and AI assistants may index and cite the Site in line with our robots.txt file.

5. Submissions and correspondence

If you send us story tips, corrections, photographs or other material, you confirm you have the right to share it and you allow us to use it to report, verify and publish stories, with credit where appropriate. Do not send confidential information you are not entitled to share.

6. Editorial content is general information

Our stories are for general information and entertainment. Product details, release dates, availability and prices change, so confirm them with the brand or retailer before you buy. Grooming and skincare coverage is general guidance and is not medical advice. Travel coverage may not reflect current opening hours or conditions, so check before you go. Nothing on the Site is financial, legal or professional advice.

7. Links and social media

The Site links to brand websites, retailers, museums, reference sources and our accounts on Instagram, X and LinkedIn. We do not control third-party sites or platforms and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices. Your use of social platforms is governed by their own terms. If we ever use affiliate links or publish sponsored content, it will be clearly labeled.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We work hard to get things right and correct errors under our editorial policy, but we do not guarantee that the Site will be error free or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Media Morpheus LLC and its members, staff and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD 100).

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Media Morpheus LLC from claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

11. Copyright complaints

If you believe material on the Site infringes your copyright, email editors@quietmenace.com with the page URL, a description of the work, proof that you own it or are authorized to act for the owner, and your contact details. We will review and remove or credit material promptly where appropriate.

12. Changes to the Site and these Terms

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may update these Terms, and the effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest of these Terms remain in effect.
